Is there Parking on site? – Yes, there is parking on-site although this is limited. We suggest that if possible we promote car-sharing for larger parties. Car parking is charge at £2 per car. There is bus routes within the vicinity of the event site.

Is there disabled parking? – We advise the walk is wheelchair challenging

Can I take a taxi to the event? – Yes, taxis from central Edinburgh are roughly around £30 and must be booked in advance for travel back from the site. We do not offer a taxi booking service for guests.


Do I need to buy tickets in advance? – Many of our shows sell out in advance. You must purchase your tickets before you travel to Vogrie. We may have limited tickets available at the gate, please check our social media channels and official communications before travelling to site to ensure there are tickets available.

Where do I get my tickets from? – This is a ticketed event. Without tickets or other relevant proof of purchase you will not be allowed access to the event. Tickets are available online at;–Light-walk—Vogrie-Country-Park/13114519/

Can we collect tickets at the box office? – No, there is no collect at box office for this event. However if you are unable to access a printer, your purchased tickets will be available for re-download through our ticketing partner,

What does my Ticket Time mean? – The time on your ticket is the start of the walk, if you are late we can guarantee you will be able to still participate within this allocated time. This is implemented to ensure the utmost safety to all guests at the event.

I’ve not received a confirmation email, is this normal? – No, if you haven’t received an email confirming your ticket purchase, please send us details of your booking. Our box office will investigate and respond. Alternatively you can contact our ticketing parter, Skiddle, directly.

Will my tickets be posted out? – We offer an e-ticket option only, you will NOT receive a printed ticket by post.

I’ve lost or mislaid my tickets, can I get duplicates? = If you can’t find your tickets, you can re-download them by logging in to our ticketing partners portal at, in this section your previously purchased ticket(s) will be listed.

I would like to exchange my tickets, is that possible? – Tickets cannot be refunded. Tickets can be exchanged at the sole discretion of the box office and subject to availability.

Can I just show my confirmation e-mail? – All tickets will be scanned upon entry, customers must have a valid ticket or e-ticket with a unique bar code. Valid tickets will be accepted when printed or on mobile phone.

What qualifies for a concession ticket? – You may qualify for a concession ticket if you produce valid Student ID, Concession pass and/or blue badge.

Do you offer discount tickets for large groups? – Yes, we may offer discounted entry for large groups. To request a special discount please contact us on


Are dogs allowed? -No, dogs are not allowed on-site. The event attracts lots of people and that, combined with very hot lights, electricity cables and loudspeakers situated at curious doggy level can make it too dangerous for our furry four legged friends.

Are assistance dogs allowed? – Yes, guide dogs for the blind, hearing dogs for the deaf and assistance dogs are all permitted. We do ask that you be aware that the site can be busy in places, and that there are very hot lights, electricity cables and loudspeakers often situated at curious doggy level. Assistance dogs in training are also welcome.

Special Needs

Is it suitable for children/elderly? – The event has been designed to cater for all ages and abilities, however, care should be taken on paths and they are not suitable for very large buggies. Paths are suitable for some push wheelchairs.

Is it suitable for disabled visitors? – The site is accessible to some push wheelchair users but we recommend you check this site for more detailed information on the walk and gradients to assess whether it is suited to your specific access needs prior to booking. Paths are not suitable for wheelchairs with small wheels or electric wheelchairs, their wheels are too small to go over the cable ramps.

Are there disabled toilets on site? – Yes, the disabled toilets will be located on-site.

I have a disabled car parking space, what time will this be available for me? – We have a very limited number of disabled parking spaces on site.

Do you have wheelchairs or mobility scooters on site for public use? – No, you will be required to provide your own mobility aids. The site is accessible by some wheelchairs. Some types of mobility scooters may find it a challenge getting around. If you have a small wheeled mobility scooter, we’d recommend you come with a push wheelchair and carer instead.

Are Strobe Effects used in the Show? – It is not recommended that photo sensitive epileptics attend this event due to the nature of some aspects of the show. The volume of light fixtures on site could raise the frequency of light flashes and strobing across multiple sources to a level where it may be considered unsafe for people who are affected by photo-sensitive epilepsy.

Can you bring your own food and drink on-site? – Unfortunately we do not allow food and drink to brought onto site, we will however have a variety of food suppliers who will be able to meet all kinds of dietary requirements.

Can I pay by card? – Due to the nature of the site, there is little internet connectivity, due to this we do not offer effect card services on-site. Please make sure you bring enough cash on-site to last you for the duration of your visit.


What happens if the event is cancelled and how will I know? – If an event in cancelled we will notify all of our guests immediately through our social media channels and official communication channels.

If the event is cancelled do I get a refund? – Yes, you will be automatically refunded. If you have any questions about a cancelled show, please do not hesitate to contact us.
